Senor Sangria participated in its first trade so ever at the Jacob Javits Center on June 13th and June 14th. There were 400 or so exhibitors, with over 4,000 people in attendance. Since this was our first trade show, we were quite anxious and had no idea what to expect. The first step was decorating our booth. Having made the decision to go all out, we splurged on a fabric back wall which looked amazing. Everyone loved our sangria, and many of the folks came back for more (and more). We received a lot of positive feedback, multiple leads for New York and New Jersey, as well as some potentially unique product opportunities.
A New York-based Japanese magazine attending the show was inspired to write an article about our product! We were excited to hear the news and sat down to read the review with much anticipation. It wasn’t long before we were in hysterics, as we couldn’t understand one word in the article. We are hoping [and assuming] that they had only good things to say about our product.
