Live, Love, Sangria!

Ready for Bottling
After two years of sitting around and drinking sangria (oops… I mean research and development) we are ready for our first production run. Today we dropped off the remaining ingredients at the winery. All that is left is for us to be slotted into the winery’s bottling schedule. It almost feels like we are waiting for a baby to be born. At any time we may get a call saying “Rick, we’re ready!”. I get goose bumps thinking of it. Hopefully you do too.

Below are a couple of pictures of the fruit juice and sugar we delivered today. The fruit juice comes in drums and large pails. It’s all natural with no flavors or anything artificial added. The sugar is 100% cane sugar. We are not using any high fructose corn syrup.

T-Shirt Contest
Don’t worry you haven’t missed entering the contest. We’ve been to busy drinking sangria (hmmm common theme…) with friends and family to pick a winner. The winners of the contest will be picked this weekend March 7-8th. We’ll contact the winners directly and place an announcement on our site. If you are interested in entering click on the link below to learn more.

Senor Sangria Proposes
It’s true! After 7 years of dating I’ve popped the question my Senorita. If trying to start up a new business isn’t enough work, we now have to plan a wedding. If you have any wedding tips I am all ears! At least we know what we’ll be serving at the wedding.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this month’s newsletter. Remember feel free to contact me any time with your sangria questions or if you just want to talk. We love talking about sangria.

Congratulations! I wish you all the best! My best advice – keep it simple. Don’t overdo and don’t sweat the small stuff. Make the day about you two and not about all the trappings. It will make life much easier! My husband and I got married on our property – we had the dress and he had a suit, rings and flowers. Mother Nature provided all the rest and it was an absolutely memorable day, plus we didn’t have to take out a mortgage to pay for it all!

I look forward to hearing more and have a great day!

Hey! Congrats on all your good news. You know Chris and I love to travel. I say you have the wedding in Portugal!!! YEAH!!!! You can even write it off as a business expense by taking a little side trip to Spain to check out your sangria competition.

Congratulations on the pending birth of your bottling operation and you engagement! Will there be an Open bar? What will be the drink of choice there? Haha.
Best piece of advice is to be patient, don’t get hung up on tiny details, what matter most is that you both enjoy the day the most you can. It takes months of planning and one day for it to be over, but the rest of your lives to enjoy it.

Congratulations!! So many great things to look forward to! We are so happy for you both. Best advise is to make planning fun and try to keep things simple. Unfortunately, the Wedding Day goes by so fast it’s really important to enjoy every moment :) Cheers to your engagement!
